Infravisible reflexiona sobre los fantasmas que habitan lo real y que se camuflan bajo el velo de lo visible. El sujeto contemporáneo parece haberse olvidado de la importancia de estar solo y de aislarse del resto. Precisamente por ser este su miedo más profundo, el aislamiento, todo aquello que se relaciona con el mismo parece haber pasado a una categoría que se sitúa por debajo del umbral de lo que consideramos real y de lo que vemos.

Clément Rosset afirma en su libro Fantasmagorías seguido de lo real, lo imaginario y lo ilusorio que “Lo real quizá sea la suma de las apariencias de las imágenes y de los fantasmas que fatalmente sugieren su existencia”.

He retratado una escena de mi vida cotidiana con la intención de imaginar todo aquello que puede pasar desapercibido por mis ojos pero que en mis momentos de soledad y de aislamiento puede estar sucediendo. Me pregunto si esto es necesario y obligatorio para todos. Es decir, separarnos por un momento y tratar de ser sensibles y dejarnos tocar y habitar por aquello que muchas veces no vemos. Así, se aparece como un fantasma, una transparencia que la cámara si es capaz de percibir.

Infravisible es un proyecto realizado entre 2010 y 2011. Está formado por una pieza audiovisual y tres piezas de obra gráfica. La serie gráfica consta de tres maneras negras.

En este sentido he trabajado desde la oscuridad máxima, del negro, de la ausencia de luz y de la invisibilidad para hacer surgir la imagen. Como si de una cámara de rayos infrarrojos se tratara, cámara sensible al calor que desvela lo que hay incluso en medio de la oscuridad máxima, de aquello que está debajo de aquello que se puede ver.

Infravisible reflects on the ghosts that inhabit the real and which are camouflaged under the veil of the visible. The contemporary subject seems to have forgotten the importance of being alone and isolated from the rest. Just as this is their deepest fear, isolation, all that is related to it seems to have gone to a category that is below the threshold of what we consider real and what we see.

Clément Rosset says in his book Phantasmagoria followed by the real, imaginary and illusory "The real may be the sum of the appearances of the images and ghosts that falsely suggest its existence."

I have portrayed a scene from my daily life with the intention to imagine everything that could go unnoticed for my eyes but in my moments of loneliness and isolation may be happening. Infravisible is a project conducted between 2010 and 2011. It consists of an audiovisual piece and three pieces of graphic art. The series consists of three mezzotint.

In this way I worked from the maximum darkness of black, in the absence of light and invisibility to bring out the image. I worked like an infrared camera; heat-sensitive camera that reveals what is even in the dark top, of that which is below what can be seen.
